BREXIT + Covid 19 UPDATE

On 1st of January 2021 the UK has left the European Union, which means that if our order is going to be delivered to a European Country, You, the customer may have to pay the following fees:

  • tax, which varies between countries but usually is 19-21 %

  • a small handling fee by your local courier

  • if the value of the parcel (incl. delivery) is over 135 €, you will have to pay tax + the handling fee + a customs fee

Please note: I am legally obliged to send your parcel as a “Sale of Goods” rather than a “Gift”. I understand that these additional fees are very unfortunate for my customers, however this sadly is out of my hands. Due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, both UK and International deliveries can take a little longer at the moment.

General Information

Your order is due to be shipped within 2-5 working days after Your order has been placed. Please note, that working days are Monday to Friday and do not include Weekends or UK Bank Holidays. During busier periods - especially leading up to Christmas - it may take a little longer for your order to be sent out, due to small batch production and the nature of the business.

The delivery cost is calculated automatically for Your order in the shopping basket and depends on the size and weight of the items you purchase and the country of destination. All orders are shipped through Royal Mail from the UK. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email (with tracking number if applicable). Any customs fees that may be asked to pay upon delivery, will have to be paid by the customer.

UK SHIPPING

For UK orders there are two delivery options to choose from:

  • Royal Mail Standard 2nd Class delivery: aims to delivery by the 3rd working day (Saturdays may not be included); no tracking available

  • Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class delivery: aims to deliver on the next working day (Saturdays may not be included); signature required upon delivery

Europe Shipping

For orders, that are delivered to the EU & other European countries there are two delivery options to choose from:

  • Royal Mail International Standard: aims to deliver within 5-7 working days (Saturdays may not be included); no tracking available

  • Royal Mail International Tracked: aims to deliver within 3-4 working days (Saturdays may not be included); tracking available

Please note: Currently it seems like delivery times from the UK to Europe are taking a little longer. From experience it can take up to 14 working days.

International Shipping

For International orders that are delivered outside of the EU / European countries, the following delivery option is available:

  • Royal Mail International Tracked: aims to deliver within 5-7 working days (Saturdays may not be included); tracking available

Countries outside of Europe are divided into three different “World Zones” according to Royal Mail. The delivery fees vary between these three zones and the categories are as follow:

  • Zone 1: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, India, Japan, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Pakistan, Paraguay, Philipines, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE. Paraguay, Vietnam

  • Zone 2: Australia, British Indian Ocean Territory, Christmas Island, Cook Island, Fiji, Macao, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore

  • Zone 3: United States of America

Returns 

If there is any issue with Your order, please get in touch via info@ampellegrini.com within 14 days of receiving Your order. Any items may be returned within the 14 days period in their original condition including the original packaging. In case your item got damaged in transit, please take sharp photographs of the parcel and the item as soon as You have received it.

Please note that any return shipping fees are at Your own cost and can not be refunded. Once the returned item has arrived at AMPellegrini Art&Design, the item is inspected to ensure it is in its original condition. If this is not the case, AMPellegrini Art&Design reserves the right to refuse a refund or to issue a partial refund only. 

Please do not send any items back without contacting AMPellegrini Art&Design first to discuss your case, as there may be an alternative solution.
