This allover digitally printed cotton tea towel is made from durable fabric and features a colourful group of hand-painted acrylic illustrations of British butterflies and garden birds placed against a bright blue watercolour background. The illustrations include the Blue Morpho and the orange Leopard Lacewing and if you look closely you might discover the caterpillar crawling up a flower stem.

This natural cotton tea towel is the perfect present for a butterfly and nature lover and adds an artistic and joyful touch to any home and kitchen. It makes the perfect joyful gift for Mother’s Day! The tea towel can be used to dry dishes, but also makes a great centre piece or table cloth for a small table, such as a garden table. The natural and soft cotton fabric soaks up water nicely, but will dry quickly when it gets damp. The fabric edges have been folded over twice before hemming, to give the tea towel a neat and clean finish also from the back side. On the back, this printed tea towel features a cotton hanging loop in the top right corner and the signature teal colored AMPellegrini Art & Design fabric label in the top left corner. When laid out flat, these are not visible from the front.

The tea towel comes neatly folded with a belly band wrapped around, that contains washing and care instructions and finally is tissue wrapped. Anna-Maria Pellegrini has painted all the acrylic illustrations and created the design for The Butterflies’ Beauty tea towel in her East London Hackney-based home studio. The tea towel is entirely Made in the UK - from printing to the final stitches - and then carefully wrapped, packed and dispatched by Anna-Maria. There will be a shipping fee applied at the checkout which is around £2.50, but may be higher if you add more products to your basket.
