The Beautiful Butterflies coaster set consists of six hand-printed marble tile coasters with butterfly and garden bird illustrations. They show hand-painted acrylic illustrations of various butterflies and garden birds: from a deep blue Monarch, to a bright yellow-orange Leopard Lacewing, to an observing Goldfinch. The blue, turquoise and green watercolor backgrounds make the individual butterflies and garden birds stand out. The usual price for 6 individual coasters would be £48, so you can save £13 by ordering the complete set.

The originally hand-painted butterfly and garden bird illustrations each are of strong colours: from a deep midnight blue, to bright oranges and yellows that are surrounded by small garden flowers in pink, white and yellow, soft pink cherry blossoms and some smaller garden leaves. The subtle watercolour gradients in the backgrounds vary from a deep sky blue to a turquoise blue-green and a grassy light green and let the natural texture of the marble shine through which gives the appearance, the butterflies have been painted directly onto the stone. This coaster set makes a charming gift for a butterfly and botanical lover.

This butterfly marble coaster set is the ideal Christmas gift for a garden and butterfly lover and adds an artistic and joyful touch to any dining and kitchen table. The coasters are very versatile and can be used to hold your freshly brewed coffee mug, a sweet summer drink or a small plant pot or vase. The marble tiles underneath the printed butterfly designs have a beautiful natural texture and rounded rustic edges. The prints have been sealed with a protective tile varnish to protect the surface from heat, stains and water. The varnish has a slight satin finish. Hot cups and mugs can be placed onto the coasters without any worries, but it is recommended to be careful with hot oven trays, pots and pans. The cork backings prevent any table surfaces from getting scratched and hold the signature teal green AMPellegrini Art & Design logo, which has been ink-stamped with permanent waterproof ink.
Packaging + Postage
The stone coasters comes tissue wrapped and in a kraft paper gift box, with a small card containing care instructions. Anna-Maria Pellegrini has painted all the acrylic illustrations and created the designs for the Beautiful Butterflies coaster set in her East London Hackney-based home studio. The hand-printing process is also done by Anna-Maria herself. Due to the handmade nature of this product and the rustic finish of the tiles itself, not two coasters are exactly the same. The marble coasters are entirely Made in the UK - from sourcing the raw materials to the final print finish - and then carefully wrapped, packed and dispatched by Anna-Maria. There will be a shipping fee applied at the checkout which is around £4.50, but may be higher if you add more products to your basket.
