These double oven gloves with my mushroom design are made from a strong, durable cotton fabric on the front and a heat proof towelling fabric on the back. On the end of the oven gloves, there is a hand pocket so you can easily handle your hot oven trays and pots. The colourful mushroom illustrations easily will disguise any stains that might not come off in the wash, so your Woodland Shrooms double oven gloves will stay beautiful for a long time. Each mushroom oven glove has a practical hanging loop in the centre, so you either hang it over your oven rail or over a hook or knob. Having a closer look at the finishing of these shroomy oven gloves, you will notice that the edges are neatly hemmed and piped so that the fabric does not fray.

All of the illustrations for the mushroom oven gloves have been hand painted and developed into a print design by myself, Anna-Maria Pellegrini. I mainly work from my studio in East London, in the UK. My background in textile design engineering means that the quality of the materials and the print are at the core of my practice. Combining bold and storytelling print designs with durable and functional textiles was the idea behind my British made kitchen textiles range. I work together with en England based textiles manufacturer who prints and makes the oven gloves to my specifications for me. Over the past few years we have developed a great business relationship and both are keen to support the economy in the UK.

All Woodland Shrooms double oven gloves are neatly folded with a bellyband around in my London studio. The bellyband contains the washing and care instructions, which can also be found on the care label sewn inside one of the pockets. Each oven glove will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and then sent as a parcel, depending on the quantity of items and weight of your order. Please note that the delivery fee is applied at checkout once you have entered your delivery country and address.

My textile manufacturer and myself recommend the following to make sure your oven gloves last you for a long time:

• wash at 40 degrees

• let it air dry

• (steam) iron your oven gloves at a low to medium heat from the back side

• do not use bleach

• do not excessively wring the tea towel

Please note: if you decide to wash your oven gloves at a higher temperature as well as iron and tumble dry it at high heat, the material and print will wear off quicker.
