  • This mushroom kitchen textiles set contains my Woodland Shrooms oven gloves and matching tea towel. They are made from a strong, durable cotton fabric and the oven gloves are made from a heat proof towelling fabric on the back. On the end of the oven gloves, there is a hand pocket so you can easily handle your hot oven trays and pots. This set makes an ideal gift for your mushroom-loving mum. 

    The joyful mushroom design easily will disguise any stains that might not come off in the wash, so your Woodland Shrooms kitchen textiles will stay beautiful for a long time. Each mushroom oven glove and tea towel has a practical hanging loop in the centre, so you either hang it over your oven rail or over a hook or knob. Having a closer look at the finishing of the textiles, you can see that they have been neatly hemmed to prevent the fabric from fraying.

    All of the illustrations for the mushroom kitchen textiles have been hand painted and developed into print designs by myself, Anna-Maria Pellegrini. I mainly work from my studio in East London, in the UK. My background in textile design engineering means that the quality of the materials and the print are at the core of my practice. Combining bold and storytelling print designs with durable and functional textiles was the idea behind my British made kitchen textiles range. I work together with en England based textiles manufacturer who prints and makes the kitchen textiles to my specifications for me. Over the past few years we have developed a great business relationship and both are keen to support the economy in the UK.

  • All A Woodland Walk aprons are neatly folded with a bellyband around in my London studio. The bellyband contains the washing and care instructions, which can also be found on the care label sewn into the side of the apron. Each apron will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and then sent in a flat envelop or parcel, depending on the quantity of items and weight of your order. Please note that the delivery fee is applied at checkout once you have entered your delivery country and address.

  • My textile manufacturer and myself recommend the following to make sure your kitchen textiles last you for a long time:

    • wash at 40 degrees

    • let it air dry

    • (steam) iron your tea towel at a low to medium heat from the back side

    • do not use bleachdo not excessively wring

    Please note: if you decide to wash your tea towel and oven gloves at a higher temperature as well as iron and tumble dry at high heat, the material and prints will wear off quicker.

A group of pink Oyster mushrooms has been hand printed on this marble stone tile coaster. Surrounded by some small leaves and a contrasting deep green patch of moss, these pink Oyster mushrooms really stand out! They are part of my most recent Woodland Shrooms collection. They have been printed onto a cream coloured marble stone tile and varnished in order to protect the print from stains.

This sweet group of Oyster mushrooms has originally been hand painted and then printed onto the beautiful organic looking stone tile. If you have a closer look, you can see the tiniest paint brush strokes within the illustration which blend in perfectly with the texture of the marble. The Oyster mushrooms are growing upwards and outwards and seem to grow towards you.
