This tea towel is made from a strong, durable cotton fabric. The weave of the cotton is loose enough to allow the fabric to absorb water when you dry your dishes, unlike many cheaper cotton tea towels that have a very tight weave. When touching and draping Woodland Blooms you can feel the fabric is quite soft and flexible and not at all stiff. This also means your tea towel will air dry quickly when it gets damp. Having a closer look at the finishing of this beautiful cotton tea towel, you will notice that the edges are neatly hemmed with a double hem so that the fabric does not fray. Flipping the tea towel on its back, you can find a practical hanging loop and my AMPellegrini Art & Design label sewn into the hem.

All of the illustrations for Woodland Blooms have been hand painted and developed into a print design by myself, Anna-Maria Pellegrini. I work from my studio in East London, in the UK. My textile design engineering background means that material and print quality are of the utmost importance to me. Bringing together gorgeous colourful print designs and durable, high quality textiles is the intention with my British made tea towel range. The textile manufacturer I work with is based in England and prints and makes the tea towels to my specifications for me. We have developed a great business relationship over the years and both are keen to support the economy in the UK.

All Woodland Blooms tea towel is neatly folded with a bellyband around in my London studio. The bellyband contains the washing and care instructions, so best not to throw it away straight away. Each tea towel will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and then sent in a flat envelop or parcel, depending on the quantity of items and weight of your order. Please note that the delivery fee is applied at checkout once you have entered your delivery country and address.

My textile manufacturer and myself recommend the following to make sure your tea towel lasts you for a long time:

• wash your tea towel at 40 degrees

• let it air dry or tumble dry on the delicates setting to prevent shrinking

• (steam) iron your tea towel at a low to medium heat from the back side

• do not use bleach

• do not excessively wring the tea towel

Please note: if you decide to wash your tea towel at a higher temperature as well as iron and tumble dry it at high heat, the material and print will wear off quicker.
