This allover digitally Printed Cotton Tote Bag is part of the Woodland Walks collection. The Tote Bag features two busy woodland floor scenes on either side of the bag. The hand-painted acrylic illustrations include pale yellow cowslips, bright red campions and even some wild growing mushrooms. The pale blue-lilac watercolour background adds more depth to the scenes.

The front and back of this tote bag show two different woodland floor scenes. All of the illustrations for this printed cotton canvas bag originally have been hand painted with acrylic paint: from the tall pink foxglove, to the vast amount of woodland flowers (yellow cowslips, blue violets and red campions) and the number of wild inhabitants. You can spot a bright yellow Brimstone Butterfly, a large speckled Fritillary Butterfly and even a snail peaking through the leaves. A cheeky Woodpecker is about to pick one of the berries and ready to fly away. The subtle texture of the cotton fabric emphasises the depth of the watercolour background which shows shades of a pale blue-lilac. The soft watercolour gradients emphasise the boldness of the acrylic illustrations. This woodland tote bag would make a lovely gift for a mum that loves going on walks, spending time in nature.

This A Woodland Walk printed cotton tote bag is the ideal present for Mother’s Day in 2024. It is the perfect companion for a day in the park, a stroll around your local farmers market or a woodland walk in the spring and summer. The handles are long enough to fit over both a lighter summer jacket but also over thicker winter coat. Thanks to the durable and strong cotton textile, this tote bag will hold your produce shopping, water bottle and picnic blanket. The edges on the inside of the bag have been overlocked, to prevent the fabric from fraying. On the outside in the bottom right corner the signature teal colored AMPellegrini Art & Design fabric label is sewn into the hem.

The A Woodland Walk printed tote bag comes neatly folded and tissue wrapped with a small card containing washing and care instructions. The bag is entirely Made in the UK - from printing to the final stitches - and then carefully wrapped, packed and dispatched by Anna-Maria.
There will be a shipping fee applied at the checkout which is around £2.30 for UK Standard delivery, but will increase if you add more items to your shopping cart as shipping rates depend on the weight of the products. There are several shipping options available to choose from at checkout.

My textile manufacturer and myself recommend the following to make sure your tote bag lasts you for a long time:
wash your tote bag at 40 degrees
let it air dry; do not tumble dry
(steam) iron your tea towel at a low to medium heat after turning the back inside out
do not use bleach
do not excessively wring the tote bag
Please note: if you decide to wash your tote bag at a higher temperature as well as iron and tumble dry it at high heat, the material and print will wear off quicker.

In this hand painted acrylic illustration a small group of pale yellow cowslips is growing straight over the full surface of the stone coaster. Their colour ranges from a pale yellow at the tip of the petals to a deeper almost orange yellow in the centre of the flowers. The cowslips appear to spring out of the tight bright green tube and are surrounded by large leaves with shades from bright grass green to a deeper forest green. Fine pale green veins are covering the surface of the large leaves. The natural marble texture of the tile makes this intricate Cowslip illustration stand out even more. In this hand painted acrylic illustration a delicate blue-violet Sweet Violet is growing surrounded by deep forest green leaves over the entire surface of the stone coaster. A smaller Violet flower is about to open its petals and is growing in from the side. The colour of the Violets ranges from a pastel lilac at the edges to a deep saturated blue-violet in the centre of the flowers. Delicate brush strokes are blending the colours from light to dark. The large leaves of the Violets appear to create a frame around the flower as they gently surround it. The natural marble texture of the tile makes this delicate Violet illustration stand out even more. This violet coaster makes the perfect botanical gift for Mother’s Day.
