This Giclée print features an original hand-painted acrylic illustration of a Resting Woodpecker against a beige grey background. The woodpecker is sitting on a mossy branch looking up, appearing to have spotted an insect flying by. His feathers are mostly grey brown with streaks of white in them, whereas his head is of a rusty orange red and the tail feathers show brown and white speckles. The branch the woodpecker is sitting on is covered with small patches of yellow green moss. The grey background has a very fine grey-board texture which gives this print the impression of being directly painted onto the paper. Up close, you can really see the details of each brush stroke. The title of this botanical illustration has been printed in the middle below the artwork. Each edition has been signed and numbered by Anna-Maria herself. This bird print would make a thoughtful Mother’s Day or Easter gift this year.

Each Giclée Print comes with a grey board backing to prevent the print from getting creased and within a compostable and biodegradable cello bag to protect the print from scratches and humidity. There is a sticker with recommended care information attached on the back to make sure your Giclée print lasts for a long time. Each print is then carefully wrapped in tissue paper, packed and sent out from Anna-Maria’s East London Studio.
