In this hand painted acrylic illustration a branch full of ripening Wild Blueberries is spreading all over the stone coaster. The less ripe berries are of a dusty pink with some pastel green whereas the ripe Blueberries are of a bold blue purple. The Blueberries grow in a tight cluster with a few bright green leaves spreading around them. This printed Wild Blueberries marble coaster would make the ideal Mother’s Day gift for a nature lover and woodland explorer. It adds an artistic touch to any dining and garden table especially during the spring and summer seasons. The stone coaster is quite versatile and can be used to hold your fresh cup of tea, a fizzing summer drink or even a small vase or plant pot. The marble tile the Wild Blueberries print has been applied on, shows a beautiful natural texture with rounded edges and a rustic finish. Its colour ranges from an off-white to a light cream beige so no two tiles are identical. The print has been sealed with a protective tile varnish to protect the surface from heat, stains and water. The varnish has a slight satin finish. Hot cups and mugs can be placed onto the coaster without any worries, but it is recommended to be careful with hot oven trays, pots and pans. The cork backing prevents any table surfaces from getting scratched and shows the signature AMPellegrini Art & Design logo ink stamped with permanent waterproof ink.
Anna-Maria Pellegrini has painted all of the acrylic illustrations and has created the design for the Wild Blueberries tile coaster in her East London studio. The hand-printing process is also done by Anna-Maria herself. Due to the handmade nature of this product and the rustic finish of the tile itself, not two coasters are exactly the same. The marble coaster is entirely Made in the UK - from sourcing the raw materials to the final print finish - and then carefully wrapped, packed and dispatched by Anna-Maria.

In this hand painted acrylic illustration a large group of Red Campions are growing in from all sides of the stone coaster. Their bold pink coloured petals create a joyful pattern over the whole surface of the tile coaster. A Brimstone Butterfly is resting on one of the pink flowers to collect some nectar. Its wings seem very delicate and are of a lemon yellow and light acid green colour. If you look closely, you can see fine veins spreading over the butterfly’s wings. The natural marble texture of the tile makes this intricate floral illustration stand out even more. This floral Red Campions coaster is the gift for a mum that loves flowers and gardening.

The front and back of this tote bag show two different woodland floor scenes. All of the illustrations for this printed cotton canvas bag originally have been hand painted with acrylic paint: from the tall pink foxglove, to the vast amount of woodland flowers (yellow cowslips, blue violets and red campions) and the number of wild inhabitants. You can spot a bright yellow Brimstone Butterfly, a large speckled Fritillary Butterfly and even a snail peaking through the leaves. A cheeky Woodpecker is about to pick one of the berries and ready to fly away. The subtle texture of the cotton fabric emphasises the depth of the watercolour background which shows shades of a pale blue-lilac.
