This beautiful woodland greeting card is part of the Woodland Walks collection. The card features a busy woodland floor scene of hand-painted acrylic illustrations. It includes a tall pink foxglove, wild strawberries and many bees, butterflies and crawlers. The pale blue-lilac watercolour background adds more depth to the scene.

Around the foxglove, violets and cowslips you can spot a bright yellow Brimstone Butterfly, a large speckled Fritillary Butterfly and even a snail peaking through the leaves. The card is fully printed back to front is like a little piece of art. A cheeky Woodpecker is about to pick one of the berries and ready to fly away on the back of the card. Each woodland card comes with a matching leaf green envelop. It matches my woodland tea towels and tote bags, making it a beautiful addition to a woodland themed Mother’s Day gift.

The A Woodland Walk greeting card is printed onto a thick textured paper and comes with a matching leaf green envelop. The texture of the card resembles watercolour paper and perfectly complements the hand painted nature of the woodland design. Unlike many other greeting cards, this card has been fully printed with the design from front to back, which makes it like a little piece of art. The inside of the card has been left blank so that you can use for any occasion; it would make a lovely Mother’s Day or birthday card for a nature lover and woodland explorer. The back of the card, features the AMPellegrini Art & Design logo as well as contact information at the bottom.
The woodland greeting card features the same design as my A Woodland Walk tote bag and A Woodland Walk tea towel so it complements a thoughtful and carefully chosen gift for a garden and nature lover. All of the original artworks for the A Woodland Walk greeting card have been hand painted by myself, Anna-Maria Pellegrini. I am based in East London in the UK, where I have a studio and create all my botanical illustrations. Coming from a textile design engineering background, material and print quality are the main criteria when developing new products. By transferring my story-telling signature print designs onto greeting cards, you are able to enjoy a small piece of my artworks. The printing company I work with is based in England and over the years we have developed a sustainable business relationship and both are keen to support the UK economy.

Every woodland greeting card and its envelope is packed inside a compostable plastic cello bag to protect it from finger prints and humidity. All bags are packed and sent out from my East London studio. All cards are then packaged inside a large envelope or a parcel if you order other items from the website. Please bear in mind that there is a delivery fee applied when checking out, once you have entered your delivery address.

The front and back of this tote bag show two different woodland floor scenes. All of the illustrations for this printed cotton canvas bag originally have been hand painted with acrylic paint: from the tall pink foxglove, to the vast amount of woodland flowers (yellow cowslips, blue violets and red campions) and the number of wild inhabitants. You can spot a bright yellow Brimstone Butterfly, a large speckled Fritillary Butterfly and even a snail peaking through the leaves. A cheeky Woodpecker is about to pick one of the berries and ready to fly away. The subtle texture of the cotton fabric emphasises the depth of the watercolour background which shows shades of a pale blue-lilac. The soft watercolour gradients emphasise the boldness of the acrylic illustrations. This woodland tote bag would make a lovely gift for a mum that loves going on walks, spending time in nature.

In this hand painted acrylic illustration two tall bright purple and pink foxgloves are growing over the full surface of the printed stone coaster. Their colour varies from shades of deep pink to a softer lilac by applying delicate brush strokes. The bright white and deep purple speckled pattern on the inside of the flowers immediately catch your eye and those of wild pollinators. A wild bee can be seen crawling inside one of the trumpet like flowers to collect some pollen and nectar.
