The A Woodland Walk apron is part of my popular Woodland Walks collection. The apron features a storytelling woodland floor scene filled with foxgloves, violets, wild berries and a cheeky woodpecker. The light blue watercolour background makes this a serene and peaceful scene. Each woodland apron is made from a durable and machine washable cotton fabric which means it is beautiful yet practical at the same time.

This woodland apron is made from a strong, durable cotton fabric. The weave of the cotton is loose enough to allow the fabric to absorb liquids when you quickly need to wipe your hands while you are cooking. The storytelling busy pattern easily will disguise any stains that might not come off in the wash, so your A Woodland Walk apron will stay beautiful for a long time. Each woodland apron has adjustable neck straps which means it will fit nicely for people of different heights. Having a closer look at the finishing of this gorgeous cotton apron, you will notice that the edges are neatly hemmed with a double hem so that the fabric does not fray. Flipping the apron on its back, you can find a care label and my signature AMPellegrini Art & Design label sewn in near the straps.

It will add a cottage flair to her kitchen.All of the illustrations for the woodland apron have been hand painted and developed into a print design by myself, Anna-Maria Pellegrini. I mainly work from my studio in East London, in the UK. My background in textile design engineering means that the quality of the materials and the print are at the core of my practice. Combining bold and storytelling print designs with durable and functional textiles was the idea behind my British made kitchen textiles range. I work together with en England based textiles manufacturer who prints and makes the aprons to my specifications for me. Over the past few years we have developed a great business relationship and both are keen to support the economy in the UK.

All A Woodland Walk aprons are neatly folded with a bellyband around in my London studio. The bellyband contains the washing and care instructions, which can also be found on the care label sewn into the side of the apron. Each apron will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and then sent in a flat envelop or parcel, depending on the quantity of items and weight of your order. Please note that the delivery fee is applied at checkout once you have entered your delivery country and address.

My textile manufacturer and myself recommend the following to make sure your apron lasts you for a long time:
wash apron at 40 degrees
let it air dry
(steam) iron your tea towel at a low to medium heat from the back side
do not use bleach
do not excessively wring the tea towel
Please note: if you decide to wash your apron at a higher temperature as well as iron and tumble dry it at high heat, the material and print will wear off quicker.

In this hand painted acrylic illustration a small group of pale yellow cowslips is growing straight over the full surface of the stone coaster. Their colour ranges from a pale yellow at the tip of the petals to a deeper almost orange yellow in the centre of the flowers. The cowslips appear to spring out of the tight bright green tube and are surrounded by large leaves with shades from bright grass green to a deeper forest green. Fine pale green veins are covering the surface of the large leaves. The natural marble texture of the tile makes this intricate Cowslip illustration stand out even more. This cowslip coaster makes the perfect gift for a mum that loves flowers and gardening.

Around the foxglove, violets and cowslips you can spot a bright yellow Brimstone Butterfly, a large speckled Fritillary Butterfly and even a snail peaking through the leaves.
